Pedal Bushings

I bought P/N A-7508-Q4. Two bushings are required for each pedal. In the original bushing the hole in the bushing lined up with the Zerk fitting. There was a half moon drilled at the end of the bushing so when they were installed there was a complete hole that aligned up with the zerk fitting. As you can see in the photo the hole in the bushing is in the middle and not aligned with the zerk fitting. I guess the solution would be to drill a new hole thru the zerk fitting into the bushing.

Yes, just drill another hole. I recently rebuilt a bell housing and replaced all the shafts and bushings - had to do the same thing. Everything moves nice and smooth now.

I've never seen grease fittings on the pedals unless they have been modified like I did to mine. Maybe LHD and RHD are different but that would surprise me.

I have collection of RHD pedals about 6 variations , & yes late ones had grease nipples, If you need bushes for RHD ones ( larger than LHD ones ) wrist pin bushes work 1 &1/2 per pedal

Small end bushes is what I have always used, adding grease fittings at the same time.

I’ve not seen a LHD set with grease fittings that were not added later. I’ve done a few sets. Seems to me that the bushing is also used somewhere else, hence the grease hole that OP noted. (Update - bushing is used in the clutch housing for the clutch release shaft. Thank you, Snyder’s catalog!)

Hello, my 1931 has the grease fittings, or I should say one , some one broke the other, this was repaired at restoration, grease fittings made a big difference, side with broken fitting , shaft was chewed up, the other was still in good condition.
