Really? I've found hundreds of cool things on ebay. Been disappointed only a few times that I could count on one hand. But I do appreciate the tip on not buying from woody255a. Thanks!

Your story might be different if you were the guy that bought the 1932 Ford roadster on eBay for $1000.

Judging from his feedback and rating (100%) I would contact him and see what he'll do about it. Don't badmouth him til you give him a chance.

I've found EBay an invaluable resource for the hobby. The seller you mention does not have any negative feedback, which can only mean you didn't give him any. Would agree with Ross in regards to contacting him before giving him any negative feedback. Has to be better than dragging his name through the mud on the internet, imho.

Talk to the guy and try to work it out....you have I think 30 days, do it. BTW that 32 is cheap, go buy a frame or the firewall! Dudley

What's YOUR eBay ID?????????? Don't think I need you as a buyer.

Sounds like you might have jumped the gun on this. He has very good feedback. Try and work it out.

The transaction was five months ago. December 3, 2009 (easy lookup).
Five months after-the-fact may be asking a bit much.
Not everybody's idea of returns extends that far time-wise.

Definately have to be careful on eBay. I've used it numerous times and never have been burned yet. My biggest thing is I will ask questions before I bid on anything to make sure I know exactly what is going on.

I am thinking this story sounds a lot like just a typical whining ebay buyer.

Typical? Are you saying most ebay buyers are whiners? That is what you must be saying since the word typical is synonymous with representative or normal. Definition, exhibiting the qualities or characteristics that identify a group or kind or category.

So ebay buyers are whiners?!

I would say that is typical of a whining ebay buyer, rather than a typical ebay buyer. I think forever4 has it right.

here item number 230466881047 and add
1931 Model A Ford Vicky Rear Body Valance Very nice and solid, no dings or rust pitting, nice and clean.
I have done a light glass bead blast to show the true condition.

Buyer pay shipping and handling, I do combine items to bring the shipping cost down for my buyers but please email me for cost for shipping, this item will be shipping UPS or Local Pick up is accepted, some times the shipping companies are incorrect on the cost, if you send me your zip code I will figure the shipping cost and get back to you, I accept Pay Pal,
Happy Bidding.

I agree, I just couldn't wright fast enough.
I'm not saying this about the original poster. but there are some people you just can't make happy.
I've had good luck on ebay.

I have had one person who didn't pay, E-Bay took care of that. I also had one Model A parts vendor (through E-Bay) that did not ship the part. I struggled with the guy but it was no fault of E-bay. He ended up making it right and I got the part. His problem is he's trying to do too much and he needs to hire some people.

Also, I'm really surprised how many people on e-bay still take money orders.

also was told it was my fualt that it was listed wrong
Your fault? Sounds like there is more to the story than we are being told. I buy and sometimes sell on ebay. Have to say i have had very good luck. A couple of items were not up to my liking but i bought them. I bought a set of pedals that were advertised as 32 but when i received them i found they were 33-34 pedals. Notified the guy and he said sorry and refunded my shipping and payment. He got his pedals back and i was happy. Just my opinion about ebay. But to call the guy a crook???
