Hello there. I recently purchased a 1930 Ford Model A Roadster . I am new to 4 Cylinder Engines and Model A Transmissions. I use the Search engine on here to try and figure out most questions I have but decided that I would Post pics of the engine and transmission that came with My Roadster. I pulled the engine and trans today and here are the pics.
Any Help with Id would be great.
On the Engine Head it reads 12948 or 1294B
Also there is a C stamped on the Head with an "n" in the middle of the surrounding circle embossed around it. (see pic)
The Water pump has 3 Bolts
The Engine Has a Pipe Under the Carb (Zenith)
Would Love to know what I have and really appreciate the help.
To be honest, I think the reason more young guys like me dont work on these engines is because we just dont know enough about them.
Thanks Ford Barn!
