Need Gas Tank Fuel Outlet Fitting

I would like to install a 1/4 inch fuel outlet fitting in the lower right hand corner of my TANKS polypropylene gas tank so as to make it operate on gravity feed like the original 1940 Ford tank. The wall thickness of tank is 1/8 in. It would be very difficult to reach a nut that tightens the fitting from the inside of the tank. What type of fitting can I use?
Any ideas on what type of fuel outlet fitting I can use is very much appreciated.
Tank is pictured below. The little piece of blue tape shows where I want the fitting on the outside rear of the tank up about an inch from the bottom of tank. Thank you. Jim
PS: Exhaust pipe is to the right of the tank.

I just went with a similar set up but I could reach the inside . I used a modified tire valve .
I contemplated using it as issued but looked at some multi piece tire valves .
It only works if you can get to insert it from the inside , nut and washers are on outside.
I can email pics of the multi piece aftermarket tire valve

would a bottom feed be actually be gravity feed? Seems like the fitting would be below the fuel pump so it would not be gravity feed . also I believe it is unlawfull to have feed from the bottom of a fuel tank.

This is what the tire stems look like. I use them on some of my motorcycle wheels. They are designed to be held on the inside via the slot in the fitting. You could possibly run some rebar tie wire up a drilled hole and out the tank fill tube then drop the tire stem onto it and out through the hole. A new screwdriver slot on the outside or double nuts could be used to keep the stem from turning as the nuts are tightened.

I suggest looking into epoxying a pad or fitting flange to the outside of the tank and tap it for your fuel fitting. This epoxy works very well. I have used it.

glennpm: I like your idea except that I don't think that JB Epoxy you showed will adhere well to polypropylene plastic. Am I incorrect?

I am trying to make the feed like it was in the OEM 1940 tank.
