Your truck is looking mighty fine. It is a real credit to you.

Thank you all for the great compliments. Gibson,I spent my high school years taking up auto body instead of government. Lol. Yeah, I've been in the garage too long. Lol. I restored about 12 farm tractors, 6 jeeps, couple land cruisers, 2 corvettes, 1 bel air, 5 dump trucks, 2 backhoes, 3 forklifts, 5 skidsteers and lots of antique farm implements past 26 yrs. I need a vacation soon before the hands lock up and I can't breathe. Lol. Thanks again ford guys and the best to all your projects. Don't ever say it can't be done, just take one day at a time.

I've got 3 more projects I want to finish/restore. 40 coupe deluxe, 37 1.5t rollback, and a 55f100 and then I'm throwing out anything auto body related .lol

burnette, that is 1 heck of a load of hay. I'm sure I'll be as :) when my truck is done as happy as the guy waving who stacked that hay!

I stacked a little in my hay day till we lost all our farmers as times changed. I would say there must be around 80 bales on that truck!

We stopped in Minn. at Long Prarrie in July 1977 just in time to bring in the hay. Moose blaes his hay with 3 wires @140 lbs. When I hit my limit Moose's wife told me to drive the tractor she would finish loading the wagon. I was only 35 in 1977.

we would do hay to when we were young. but probably more of a nuisance. mr burnette lived maybe 10 miles away ,so never hung around there.

Really nice work! I'm partial to the big trucks and being that yours is an M/H makes it that much better. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Slowly coming along, I got the glass, mirrors and running lights installed.

SO awesome... Like Joe triple seven, I am into the big trucks. Someday we should meet up for the 35 mph cruise across 3 states....

GB, thank U. That trip sounds great. I would imagine it would take me 3 months on the road to get to that 3 day drive. Lol

i had time to blast the bed and get in primer and got the rails painted. Gotta get me some lumber soon I guess.

wow nice! did your windshield go together good! what kind of clearence lights are you using! really nice!

Windshield went in pretty good along with the help of dawn dish soap. The clearance lights were aftermarket units I found on eBay

When I was a kid and didn't know any better I bought a '51 MH half ton. Half ton's are really scarce. We'd get that thing on inclines where the flatty was starving for oil. The usual; wish I had it now! Nice find!

Update on my ford 4x4 marmon. I painted the bed and had time to install the front fenders, running boards, grill and hood. Gonna try and get the jail bars and headlights in next. 😀
