The original front brake operating pin was 7 3/16 inches long. Snyders offers a 7 1/4 inches length operating pin. This fix could eliminate the need for pills, or if not, it will reduce the number of pills required. I once attended a brake seminar put on by Les Andrews where he recommended always using the 7 1/4 length pin.
