Hey Tod,
That is exciting news!
And to think that there were/are many who say that IT couldn't be done !
If possible, please post pics here , for those who do not know how to navigate computer very well (yeah, Me!).....
Todd you don't have to link to them on here. Just attach the file and upload the picture in your message.
This is the block just before the crank is slated to drop in. Painted stock Ford green. Prus Jr. says he hopes to have it ready to run Friday.
From Tod's post on FaceBook:
Thanks much, that is an amazing looking block.
Tod, you better stamp it #1, because if it gets mixed up with a painted original , might just gain legs and disappearCongratulations on making FIRST duplicate model a block....ever !
Can't wait to see the aluminum version !!!
Tod, Doghere,
You are my TOP DOG

Wow been waiting all my life for this kind of news, thanks Tod
When I hit the image option I get a URL request for an http address. Then, if I try it in this reply, I get a security problem.

The first aluminum block is going to heat treat. I used it to make sure my 1st op fixture also fit aluminum just right and it was good. So far, so good.
One of these days I will get time to put the 5 main aluminum mold together and cast the next aluminum sample. I'm just really busy right now, but I hope things will settle down some soon.
