Hi Derek, I want to sell my new A Quickchange that I bought from you and you delivered to Arco swap meet a couple of years ago. It is still new and has 5 extra sets of new Winters gears and a Hot Rod Works open driveline (installed by Hot Rod Works in Idaho). drmyers@earthlink.net

Racer and/or Quickchange,

If you don't mind could you help me with the setup of a '48 era banjo quickchang? Quickchang or Derek, I bought it from you in January of 2011 and am just now getting around to setting it up. I had to bore out the inside of the pinion race landing to allow for the pinion gear to slip past. I'm trying to install the pionion race but even after freezing the race the bore is .008" to small. I'm afraid to push the race with that much undersize, what do you guys think? I was thinking about honing the bore to get .004" to .005" more relief. Also how do you recommend checking for pinion to ring gear clearance? Any and all help would be accepted. 55 years ago when I knew everything this wan't a problem but the older I get the dumber I get.

Thanks for any help,

Jim
