Kingpin question

On mine I used stiff cloth sanding belt scrap and bent it at right angles to the dowel. This heavy backed abrasive stayed like a flap that layed against the dowel but exerted some outward pressure. Much like a cylinder hone, centrifugal force puts a certain amount of pressure against the bore to be honed. Let me be the first to say this method isn't for everybody, and I expect to get some flak from people unused to my shade tree improvised style. It's just something I decided to try as I found two sets of bushings in my attic stash, and I had a 3/4" dowel sitting on my workbench from the previous day's test run for making teflon buttons to fit into my 59ab's wrist pins in place of circlips. You might say "I heard the dowel call my name".
