I incorporated a mount for a Mustang master cylinder. Out of the picture to the right is the Gennie part that didn't get chopped up.

On to the next part of the project!

Very impressive sculpture!
Have you posted the Model A front member you reworked to fit the '32 frame?? That was a nice piece of work too.

Thanks for posting the pics. Now we have a good reference to go by when we start fixing my son's hacked up K-member for his AV8 project.

You fabricated the whole K-member? Did you have the pieces lazer cut or? Do you have any in process build pics? I like this kinda stuff...

I recently retired from many years of electro-mechanical design, including computer drafting. So, I bought a Mac and a cheap software package and measured a whole bunch of parts- A frame, '32 K, '32 pedals, '39 trans, rear ends, steering boxes, etc and laid the whole thing out. (The Tardel book served as an inspiration and I had bought a '32 K member, but I couldn't bring myself to cut it up.) Then, I bought some steel and laid out the main plate and cut it out with an angle grinder and cut off wheels. I did have a fab shop shear and bend a piece for the top flange with the 45 degree bend. Once I had the main plate, top flanges and ends of the bottom flanges, I started clamping and bolting them in the frame. Then I started tack welding everything together and went from there. I am planning on using a CNC plasma cutter where I'm taking welding classes for making new pedals. I've got a series of progress pictures in an album on my profile page.

I did the same thing, kinda!
I made patterns from an original K-Member& used the measurements from Tardel/Bishop book.
I also made the pedal bracket to match the original. Also made the M/C bracket from the book.

I like the way you made the M/C mount on yours, good job!
