Interested in a 1930 Model A with no title

" If its part of an estate or mixed in a family dispute does the seller even have a legal right to be selling it? "

It is my understanding This (above) is the scenario of the 100k remains of the towncar in NY....

"Whenever I find a deal like this I put a down payment (that won't hurt too much to lose) and have them (the seller) apply for a lost title or duplicate as the case may be. That way your not trying to run the seller down to get any paper work signed that the DMV needs. I've walked away from some super deals when the seller wouldn't do this. If they can't take the time they don't want to sell it very bad, but it's an entirely different thing if you are getting it for parts"

Time is money, for a seller asking 2.5k it isn't worth it to jump thru hoops, and pay associated fees, some one will buy it.....

Sorry guys, but the original Poster of this thread, has not even been logged onto this web site since he posted his very first, and only question. Should we wait to see if he responds?
