How cool is not this old Kong distributors !
I would love found the early one ( seems like the same cap as I has ) but I’ll seen a early with another cap.
Look on this roadster from 1948.

Found this add, there are 2 or maybe 3 versions, early (?) the Glendale Ca and the Championship ( I has the later, see rotor in this add ) Championship.

Its a rather cool deal with the Kurten to.
I will try to understand how the Kong works vs pointers etc.
Look at this picture first picture, the straight pin on the rotor is pointed to a pin in the cap and pointers is open. Se tush mark, that is the pin in the cap.
Then look at the other side of the angled part. Tush mark on 180 degree.
Next picture you see the axle.
-Can someone make something out of this ?

Bell Auto catalog 1949, hard to say if ’Glendale’ or ’Champion’ tag.
Then they sold the DSM coils and the ignition terminals I has.
Here are the rotors with their specific to their distributor. One das a double D. There is also pics of DuCoil NOS distributor and spare rotor. The 2 DuCoil rotors although both inter change one has brsss contact plat one has aluminum. Very nicely made as are the DuCoil caps. The Kong double D rotor is from dizzy with brass plates inside and the clear cap was supposedly Kongs own bench test and development distributor.
