I Need original 32 Headlights??

I saw a nice original pair on ebay under 1932 Ford Headlites. The seller has pictures of them apart so you can see what your getting. If I get a chance Ill go back and get the item number.

Thanks Gold but I couldnt find it.There were a lot of headlights but I didnt find an original 1932 complete set in very good shape. If you get a chance see if you can find it and forward the id number to me.

I finally found it, it was under 1932 Ford Headlites, you wouldnt find it that easy if you searched 1932 headlights. the id # is 280630984900. I took a hard look at them and by gosh they are factory 32 originals. I have not seen a pair so clean come up for sale like those in a long while. You can still clearly read FORDTWOLITEHEADLAMPS on the reflector.
Your lucky I dont need them. If I were you I would still consider the repos, you get all the hardware. Good luck

Here is an interesting twist on reproduction parts. We typically complain about poor quality. However, the "good" reproduction headlights are excellent. Make sure you know the difference between original and good reproduction. Since I have original lights,I have not studied the differences in the buckets. The reflectors and internal wiring of originals are easy to spot. One thing I do know is the logo and stamped letters on the original buckets are not very deep. Some people have passed on original buckets because they thought the light embossing was a result of a poor quality reproduction.
Just an opinion

Thanks guys for the help. thanks gold for the item number there are so many headlights on eby and the way it was listed i couldnt find it,thanks again.
Floyd thats what im not sure of,the good repos and originals.Like you said the stamping on these ones are not deep and the reflectors look original. They also apear like they fit into the bucket perfectly. So im thinking the buckets are original.also the little spring clip looks original on the bucket.Perhaps you can hve a look at them and tell me what your opinion is,Originals or repos. Thanks

Hey Gold or Floyd, you know anything about 32 gas pedal I need one and that seller just put one up on auction. If thats a real 32 pedal is there anything else that holds it in place?Take a look on eby and let me know. I forgot to get the id# but its the same seller as the head lights. Thanks

That is a 32 pedal. At least it looks like one. They can be identified by the little ball on the side of the pedal shank. They connect to the hand throttle. All other years use a direct rod to the carb from the dash. It is missing the cover that goes over the end and holds it to the firewall plus the hat shaped washer that goes on the eyebolt/stud on the other end. It is bent.
The repo headlights have stainless rivets holding the plate on the bottom. The original lights have steel rivets. Easy way to tell. Those are ginnies. I think these are repo's listed as ginnies. 300526512140

Thanks Andy, I will send him a message on the headlights to verify steel rivets or stainless rivets. The pedal I will think about in the next day. Thanks very helpful info.

Rick,Those rivets are original - not stainless. He has a reserve on those lights. You might have to go $250 on them as nice as they are.

Thanks,Im going to try to bid on that pedal and if I win it I will sure to take you up on your offer on the cover. Thanks so much

Thanks Deuce, Wasnt sure how to tell, I wonder if I the seller would tell what the reserve on the lights are? Do you think its proper to ask?
