Frame Issues - Need Advice

I don't believe a nice frame from an Arizona hulk couldn't be found. If you have a title for that car, cut out and TIG weld in the VIN portion to the doner frame or grind down the numbers after the *18- and the last * and re stamp it. You will have a better and cheaper solution then repairing or professional grafting the 2 frames together.
Good advice looking at Kube's bracing, there are ample pictures. If you lived closer to him, he might loan you his.
Good luck on your project. (I have the Ford stamps if you need them)

Thanks Deuce. I am heading back to AZ today and will investigate a frame from AZ. Does anyone have advice on replacing the front floor section. Is there any special bracing to do before you cut the old floor out? It appears that Drake has the full floor pan available. Thanks for the offer of the stamps. My frame and transmission have matching numbers but I see that is not an issue if you have the stamps!

It might be an offense to restamp a frame. Depends of your jurisdiction.

If your frame is stamped on the LH rail, might it be worth salvaging as much of that left hand rail as you can and splicing that rail into the other frame?

In other words you use parts from the donor frame to patch your original frame and retain it's identity.

The original stamps are quite distinctive. It would be good if specific parts of the original frame could be retained.

Just sayin'.

Mart.
