flywheel/clutch balancing

MikeK, I haven't checked disc balance, but am wondering at what radial distance from the centerline the 20 grams is? I would assume the outside diameter of the disc, but need to know for sure. Thanks
 
Tom, That was at the outside edge of the disc. When spun on a spline shaft between centers you could see the edge runout (radius) varied about 1/16 inch. The disc core plate was obviously punched and riveted to the spline hub a little off center. Held in your hand, it looked good. It was a new-in-box Western Auto part from, I'm guessing, the '60's that I paid $8 for at Iola.
