F150 transmission for Model A

Here is mine installed in my Model A Tudor. It uses an AA belhousing which is shorter so frame does not have to be cut.

Would it be possible to take a picture of the torque tube hook up? I'm really curious how it works.

Also, besides being a Ford product, how is this trans. better than the Chevy S10 T-5?
My understanding is that you have to modify the original cross member to use the S10 T5 and when done properly, you don't have to with the T170. And they don't have to come from a 4x4, 2wd used them too, and some Jeeps. The higher overdrive ratios are hard to find because they mostly came behind 351s.
I have a T170 in the storage shed, will probably never use it.

[FONT=&quot]There are three people that I know of that sell the conversion kit using the 84-87 Ford F150 truck OD transmission. The first is Gary Bernard in Ft. Worth, TX (817)624-1441. Don't know the cost of his kit but he is the only one of the three that uses the standard Model A bellhousing. This moves the transmission farther back and requires that the frame crossmember be notched and the brake cross shaft to be modified. Ken Parker in Van, TX (903)963-1650 sells his kit for around $2500.00 and he uses the shorter AA bellhousing as does Dave Delmue in Morgan Hill, CA (408)930-4502. Dave's kit is around $3000.00. All three sell a complete bolt in kit. I feel the shorter AA bellhousing makes for a better installation and less modifications to the car itself. All three have very good reputations.....AL in NY. Here is Ken Parker info plus other info. Thanks to Al in NY. Don't know how current.

Does anyone have a contact number/ email for Ken Parker around Van TX?
Thank you.
I used to be good friends with Ken but haven't heard anything of him in 3-4 years. I lost his email a while back in a computer crash. I'll see if I can find his old business card, he called his place Pop's Shop. He was also on Fordbarn some time ago, but I don't know if he comes around anymore.
