Although my shop does build model A blocks from the valve work to pouring the bearings my f150 transmission is in a 1967 toyota land cruiser FJ40 matched up to an isuzu 4bd2t 4 cylinder turbo diesel motor and adapted to the stock land cruiser transfercase.
But for the people who want to drive their model A to and from the car show rather than trailer...it's a very nice option. This is the same reason i chose this transmission, i like turning 1900 rpms at 65mph.
I come to this site for information because the model A crowd knows the RTS transmission better than anyone else, this comes in very handy since 99% of all ford service technicians i've spoken to deny this transmission even exists.
Hopefully these diagrams i've shared will repay some of the good karma the experts here have shared with me and help someone else.
