I wasn't initially going to say anything before, but the sound that is in the video with the Tudor is really more authentic sounding of an old train whistle. That one in the pick-up video is more shrill by my definition and doesn't really sound authentic. The 3 in the picture above also appear to be old steam tractor whistles which I think also sounded different than a train whistle too, ...but what do I know?
I do think it is funny that folks have already condemned the ones that were manufactured specifically for the Model A because it might blow soot under the hood. From experience, nothing could be further from the truth. These are not intended to be exhaust cut outs that were opened for extended periods of time. These are signaling whistles that are blown for 5-10 seconds max, ...no different than a quick blast from a vacuum wolf whistle, or a compression whistle, --or even your ahooga horn.
