Ethynol proof gas lines

Has anyone found a rubber (or otherwise) line that will withstand our new and improved gasoline ? I'm referring to the short pieces most of us use when splicing an electric fuel pump into the line. I've gone thru several of the flex lines from firewall to fuel pump, but the biggest problem has been the short pieces used splicing in the electric pump.--turns them all to mush. Someone must have found a solution by now. Thanks--JR

I haven't found any regular rubber fuel line lately, it's all the kind that's rated for fuel injection. I haven't had any problem with it, but we only have 10% in the gasoline here.

Fuel injection rubber hose sold at Shucks--Oriley is lined with teflon,it is probably sold at most parts stores. It looks like normal hose on the outside, it costs about $6 a foot. John

The problem is about to get worce. They are about to approve up to 15% in California. Other states will follow. Bob Shewman makes flex hoses that are guaranteed 5 years gadgiteer@aol.com the ethenol don't bother these hoses. I have them on all my old Fords. G.M.
