I quit paypal for a number of reasons.First, their buyer protection turned out to be useless.I bought something, the seller did not send it,and told me he didn't have the money to pay me back.I contacted paypal, they recovered $56.for me.If they can recover it they will, but that is as far as it goes.On that I lucked out,my card company that I used took it from paypal.(GE Capitol Credit)They were not happy about that. Then I noticed a couple of charges to my bank account.$2,$3,not much. That was a couple of paypal employees who set up a scheme to bleed a little off the top. They were caught and everybody was paid back.I set up a new bank account and paypal was mad because I was not letting them near it this time. Then when I tried to buy a couple of things I found I had reached my sending limit.I didn't understand it at the time,it appeared that I had hit a limit I could send, period.I didn't know it had to be reset. At this point everything I did with them was through my credit card.I have one of theirs, but never use it.I have quit using ebay now altogether.I only look at it to find businesses that sell what I am looking for, then I track them down and call them.I have used Sachs-Dolmar chainsaws for over 25 years now,and buy parts from a dealer in Tennesee that has a huge stock. He has over 22000 sales of parts on ebay, and has given up now because of paypal. If you mention it to him on the phone he will be glad to tell you how much they robbed him for. Then on the other hand we have a handicapped woman in town that sells little trinkets and jewelry on ebay, paypal only.Over 15000 transactions without a problem from them, but huge problems from the postal service.
