In some threads there is said the husband installed a full synchronised gearbox so the wife could drive the A...........
Does a female can't drive a double clutch??????
Ofcourse they can!
My wife never did before,i put her behind the wheel yesterday, told her how to shift and double clutch and within 3 minutes she got the hang of it.
We did drive 2 times around the parking and up we go into the traffic, not a countryroad in the middle of nowhere but the hectic traffic of Amsterdam.
She drove around for nearly half an hour, making no clutch or shift mistakes or other mishaps.
So i saved a lot of cash, don't have to buy another transmission.........
Only real man........and real wifes drive a double clutch.........:D

Many of them do just fine.

My A is way to complicated for a woman to drive... She can drive hers just fine. They are both stock.

No wives anymore, which explains why I can afford my Model A. I'll never let any of my ex's drive my A either, they'd drive away and never return!!!!!!!!!!!!! :(

Yes, my wife Merrily has been driving our 1929 Tudor since we purchased it in 1968. We bought the Tudor from the original own for a second car. Taking our three kids to school, and getting groceries, the wife has been right at home driving the Tudor ever since. She even helps in keeping the Tudor clean. Now we have great grand kids that we can haul around in it.

My wife has her own wide pick up and drives about half the time on tours. She loves our stock transmission.

I've owned my Model A pickup for just over one year now and my wife has only sat in it one time definitely never driven it. Eventually I will teach her and she'll give it a shot, she'll be just fine.

My mom's cousin used to drive her husband's 1930 Tudor, and Marilyn said the hum of the motor and vibration would put her two little girls to sleep every time. Model A's are good babysitters.

My mom said the first time she drove her dad's Model A, she hit the town's flagpole.

My wife and our daughter drives all our cars. I have added photo of our daughter Rene 'driving' a B777.
My avitar show my wife driving our RHD RPU, with son in law in the passenger seat

My wife used to drive the roadster all the time, now she rarely drives it. My daughter learned to parallel park with the model A. She has been driving one of my roadsters for years now. She calls double clutching "level 2" since she drove quite a while before learning to double clutch. She is a whiz at it now.

My wife...? No. But, my 17 year-old daughter? Yes. In fact, she learned to drive on it when she was eleven.

Not sure what a B777 is but do you have to "double clutch" it? :p:p It appears to be a little more complicated than my Town Sedan... (see avitar)

I don't have a wife but I've got a girl friend that goes with me on every tour and can drive as good as anyone I've ever seen driving my "A's".
