Pi is cool. I did hear once that a committee at some time in history only narrowly voted against standardising the value of pi at 3.2

I'm not sure they fully understood what they were doing.

Yeah, that would have been a slight problem for Math in general! Actually PI is my friend, I've used him a lot in dealing with geometry in the CAD software engines I've written over the years.
