Something to be aware of .While doing a brake job ,I was holding the actuator wedge up while working the clevis arm I noticed a lumpy feel to the clevis moment ,I traced this to the end of the clevis rubbing on the inside of the king pin head .You can see in the shot were I ground it of .I put this down to repoped king pins not machined out enough .I also needed to put a slight bend on the king actuator Rod 1" from the top to get a smooth moment .

i just put one of your deluxe brake kits in my 29,should i take them back apart and check for something?

Gow The issue i had here held the brakes on ( dragging ) By checking with your fingers under the wedge and working the clevis this gives a indication that things are working smoothly ,i did this with the shoes of ,So long as yours are sliding the fronts then releasing ok ,I sometimes pull the clevis bolt/pins on the rears and get the fronts working ,Then pull the front pins and get the rears working then put all the pins in ,
