Drakes bumpers are "okay". If you are doing a correct restoration, stay far away from them. They can be spotted 30' away. If you are doing a low buck "resto rod", etc. they may be just the ticket for you.
The shape is not the same as the authentic bumpers and the bumper guards do not match the contour of the bumper.
As for the plating? Realistically, you can expect 2 - 3 years before any serious degradation shows.
The steel utilized is of far inferior quality to the authentic. They will "fold" with a minimal hit.
Bottom line remains: If you simply want to get a car put together and be "okay" in appearance, it is no doubt cheaper to go with Drakes.
If you want good (correct) fit and plating that will last for years, find authentic bumpers and get them plated professionally in the USA.
