My '31 has a pesky weep at the passenger side front corner of the head block seam. I did the white vinegar treatment and used a commercially available block sealer that has sodium silicate as a prime ingredient. I just refilled with distilled water and a bottle of Water Wetter. The cooling system is pressurized. The theory is that SS hardens to seal leaks when it is exposed to air.
I will report the result.
My head gasket weeps only over the winter when she sit for a long time , is it true most headgaskets weep a little

Two things;
Are you saying that you keep water/coolant in the cooling system throughout winter while car is not driven ? Why encourage rust/corrosion, why not drain system ?
I've always thought that keeping water and anti corrosion elements in the system all the time, actually is less likely to cause rust, then draining and leaving a wet place for oxygen to create rust.
Anyone have some information on which is better?
By all means keep 50% antifreeze in the system all year. An empty system will rust.
