Hi Per
Re 'fender lamps', here are the two types used by Ford UK. The early 'bullet 'type was also used on late Model T's. The later type is similar to the US cowlamp & is the same as the fenderlamp sold in the US as an accessory.
Ok, i guess this lamps have to be put on later..!!
You will know if your car originally had a fender lamp by whether the cowl is drilled for the cowlamps that were on all Town Sedans that did not require fenderlamps in some foreign markets. The ones on your car may well have been put on later.
Maybe , but the old man told is was on the car from new.. But as is was mentioned in thread.. The older the are, the more difficult it be to remember the details...
You probably know if Denmark required cars in the Model A era to be fitted with fender lamps?
Not as i was told, i can´t get a good answar from any peoble from that time...
Your Model A may well have originated at Manchester as Dagenham did not start production until Oct. 1931. Bodywork may be US origin & assembled/finished in Europe as Briggs Sedans only started manufacture at Dagenhan from 1932 with the Model AB & 14 small bore B4.
You appear to be making good progress with the car. I try to make it ready for the car inspection. So i can get licensplates on the car..
