Bad battery or generator?

That's what I said only in a different way, so re read my post again. Do this.... refit that fuse back in its holder and start disconnecting things, starting by disconnecting all the wires to the stop light switch and make sure they are separated from each other. How many wires are on that stop light switch ? Report back your findings.

Okay so here’s what I did.

Put fuse back into its spot.
Connected positive side cable to battery.
Disconnected the negative battery cable.
Placed one end of the circuit tester to the negative battery cable.
Placed the other end of the ciruit tester to the negative post of the battery
( circuit tester light came on )
I dissconected the headlight switch ( circuit tester light stayed on )
Dissconected the passenger side door light switch positive and negative wires one at a time ( circuit tester light stayed on )

Dissconected the driver side door light switch positive and negative wires one at a time ( circuit tester light turns off when I remover either one of those wires )

Is your door light switch a plunger type? If so,make sure the plunger is pushed in(as if the door is closed). Then re-check in the "door closed" position.
If you suspect that the drivers door switch is faulty, swap the passenger and driver switches and see if you have the same results.

If by plunger you mean the rod is pushed in when the door closed then yes it’s that style. I’ll tape it in the closed position and check again.

Problem solved!

It ended up being the door light switch. I unhooked both ground and positive wires from it and used the circuit tester. No light came on. Ran the multimeter and don’t have a drain anymore. Checked everything else in that circuit and everything else still works.

Thanks for all the help guys!! I really appreciate it.

Likely unrelated, but curious if you ever got the brake/turn/tail light problem you had a couple of months ago figured out?

Yes sir, they just had some wires flipped around the wrong way. I found a ground connected to positive wires. All is good with that now though.
