B intake size

I tried running a search for the correct size of the B intake, to have my A intake bored out, but I was unable to find it. Does anyone out there know what the correct size is or at least what the maximum safe size would be? Thanx, Joe in PA
 
I measured a B carb throttle bore last week and it was 1.3". I found a good reference online that said they used a 1 5/16" drill bit to bore the A manifold out. But I can not find it now to share with you. Sorry.
