Another transmission question please.

So I just tore down the 1924 transmission, cleaned it and put it back together. Only one problem the new clutch disc set Had an odd amount of plates. When I took the transmission apart, the round inner tooth disc was the first one to go in.
When I tried duplicating that with the replacement set, I ended up with one outer tooth disc left over. So I took it back back apart, and I put the outer disk first and it came out even at the end.
Is this wrong or will it work OK?

I forgot to add I measured the old clutch pack when it came out altogether. Measured 1.190 inches, the new pack altogether measured 1.100 inches.

Thanks!

13 large discs. 12 small discs. You must install a large disc 1st or you will destroy the flat surface of the brake drum that the clutch pack sits on. You must always end up with a large plate last before the push ring.

Okay,
Then I should be good,
I put 20 E in first, then alternated 20D, ended up with a 20E last
