Sorry Teedog
That product is CARBED in California. Oh, it stands for California Air Resources Board. They are the ones that restrict anything that works well.
You might see if someone has some 3M adhesive remover. That was still available a little while ago. If you can't find that then maybe Goo Gone.

It's crazy but everything from Mineral Spirits to Laquer thinner is not allowed. You can buy some of them but they aren't even close to the real stuff. Laquer thinner is a joke. It is basically Fantastic degreaser.

Friction maybe ink eracer? 3m makes a wheel for removing sticky stuff! but the doors would need to be off the body

Yeah, they changed the formula for the 3M adhesive remover for California, I have been
buying the old stuff off ebay. I bought a case, just in case.....

WD-40 works wonders, just put it on and let it soak in good wipe it off and do it again. sometimes it takes a few times to get it off. it will remove the glue without damaging the paint.

I use a lot of brake clean or lacquer thinner . carb cleaner works but it will hurt the paint ............
