i have NOS hood lip molding and pair of sail panels.. not sure on the head light ring

I do have a couple of those headlight doors for the 52-54 Fords and Mercuries. They are not perfect, but could certainly be made serviceable. The inner stainless rings on both of these look pretty good and should polish up nicely. Both of the outer shells have some issues, one has some pitting and rust through near the drain hole and machine screw hole. The other one has a shallow dent in generally the same area with some loss of paint and some minor pitting. I think you could work with these and make them like new. Hey, Thanks to 39wdy, the Merc now has two good headlight doors, both with SS rings.. eeeeha.
Along the way and just in case anyone pulls this up years from now while doing a search, Ford and Merc are very definitively different.
Merc's are round, Ford's are oval, taller than wider, and narrower than the Merc. The Ford also has a bit of a "peak" on top.
