Hi all; Remember the swtich and wiring! Also the motor has to work in all modes. Newc
Here's a picture. I have copies of the template if anyone needs one.Where is the stock mounting position for a 40 ford hot-water heater in a Tudor Deluxe?
Thanks! That is the place where my 46 heater is. My 40 does not have a heater but the previous owner put the fuse box where the heater belongs. What I have for the Fordy is a Zephyr model Tropic Aire. Is there templates to be had for that heater. And does anyone have info of the Tropic Aire being used in a 40? MY 46 circulates through the driver side bottom radiator hose and the passenger side head. Is a stock 40 Ford set-up like this? Here's a picture. I have copies of the template if anyone needs one.
Make your own template out of card board. I used the very Tropic air heater you have in a 46 Ford. It in my opinion Tropic Air is a better heater than a normal one that they put into Fords. Much better defroster. Thanks! That is the place where my 46 heater is. My 40 does not have a heater but the previous owner put the fuse box where the heater belongs. That is good news Marv. I was wondering about the defrosters. I don't believe my 40 has defroster vents. The heater has a manually operated door on the left side, near the top, I presumed to be the defroster. How many speeds does the blower motor have on your unit. I have no switch for this unit. Can you advise me on that issue?Make your own template out of card board. I used the very Tropic air heater you have in a 46 Ford. Would be interested in purchasing one of your '40 heater templates. How can I get one?
Thanks

( I think this what you meant by "pm") I don't use this site much & still learning. Plus being 73 doesn't help. Let me know if I should do something different.
