39 pickup

I am unsure how the wood beams are positioned between the cab and frame on this 39 pickup. I know there are some small coil springs on each forward side but I can’t figure out how the beams go

I can send you some detailed information on how Ford did it for a 1935 cab. You may be able to infer from that information what you need for your 1939 cab. I'm sure there are differences, but the general principles are likely the same. PM me if you would like the wood block layout and bolts and hardware for a 1935-1936 cab.

The top of this picture would be pointed to the front of the cab, the wood also tapers at the front. You are viewing the top of the wood in the picture.

The wood would sit on top of the frame as pictured. I believe there are six carriage type bolts that hold the cab down to the frame three per side with springs pointing down on the front bolts and rear bolts of the cab there are no springs on the bolts in the center
