That filter Donaldson 777483 comes up as:

Another update for you all! Air filter is working well for me still some small popping noise I’ll come back to that in a second. I wanted to drive it to a Christmas party this afternoon but I haven’t driven it far yet so first spin today was to the gas station and back to yesterday it out. After that ride, which went very well it was smooth, I found some more things to work on which I knew was coming. 1st my passenger side water pump when I got back was wet and gunky on the back side so that immediately told me not to drive it anymore distance as my pumps are probably gonna give out on me at a bad time haha. 2nd on generator was smoking out the hole on the back so that will need to be rebuilt. 3rd the intake manifold gasket on the passenger side looks a little wet too so I believe that is calling for a new gasket too, in my thinking this could be failing pulling in more air than accounted for and causing some popping and low power to . A few pictures for you guys to see and ideas or input is awesome!! Thanks!

Sounds like to me you’re experiencing a lean condition, maybe a vacuum leak somewhere. Are you still running the original ignition coil ? If so, has it been rebuilt?

The Carb you have is a Holley or Ford Model 94, there are several different 94 usually marked with additional numbers such as 91-99 or 59. What does your Carb indicate? if it has a vacuum port on the main body or base it should be blocked closed.

Just got the water pump off my engine and plan to have them rebuilt by skip, also got the generator off and that will be rebuilt too. While waiting for the those to be done I’m putting a new intake manifold gasket on and checking all that through. Also considering the motor mounts how hard are those to do? Any suggestions? Thanks!! Also my Holley 94 has a 94 on the back, I do not see any openings that need to be stopped.

I’m debating upgrading my water pumps and replacing my hoses on my 34.

How hard was it to replace the hoses?
