34 PU door alignment ?

The alignment on my 34 PU door is fine in the back but a little low in the front. I have tried moving the hinges up as far as possible but as you probably know there isn't much if any adjustment. I have aligned the back on previous trucks with shims under the cowl but this doesn't seem logical for this situation. Any tip in aligning this would be appreciated. Thanks to all.

Hi all; I repaired a bunch of these doors and they are made very poorly. I have found doors where the skin is on the 'frame' crooked, completely off the edge when crimped. Also sometime the cab opening [door] is not 'square' , as the whole cab is shifted forward or aft. Ford did not care, if the door latched it was good. All I can say is measure it out, and try to work with it. Newc

I found the frame under my 34PU was twisted when we did a X string measurement. Took a I Beam, several wood blocks, bunch of heavy chain and a 50 ton porta power and a over push to bring it back. Then the doors were fitted with minor adjustment.
