34 3 window on a 35 frame

Just got a 34 3 window but learned it is sitting on a 35 frame.
Rear end dimensions are close enough (will use triangulated set up) BUT the front has me concerned. Will be going fender less, using 4 bar front and either Vega box or Unisteer.
Does it matter that the 35 frame has front axle behind the spring and the 34 axle is directly under the spring? Thanks for the help.

This subject came up a couple of weeks ago on here. Go back and read the comments.

We went thru this recently. I'll repeat some facts. 35, is a longer wheelbase. If you put the 35 spring and axle behind spring on, maybe wheel base gets close, who knows, never heard of it, but then hood length is wrong. According to previous posts, the frame is wider, never checked. Body is on? how, if the frame is wider.

If you put together a model 40 from ground up, first thing is the bare floor. It fits the 34 frame perfect, snugs up to, and folds over the frame rails the whole length of the body.
Then, you drop the body on, and the floor/frame all fit. the rear crossmember is quite different. The wrong frame...? hard to believe it fits.

If you have a decent 3w body, its in the 25k and up range, why not get an original frame, or some repro rails and build something that will be worth something when its done?

Given the body you have, you'd be SO MUCH BETTER OFF with a 34 frame. They are not that hard to find and it will save you countless headaches down the road. The money that it costs now will save you a lot of money over the longer term. Fix the ******* child now . . . before it grows up!
