Below is a pic of a list of production figures for '32. I forget the original source, but the numbers have generally agreed with other sources with sufficient regularity to instill confidence.
The Timmis was/is glass:

I would suggest that finding a body or car today is comparatively easier than say 20 years ago. For that slice of automotive hobbydom that is most fond of this vintage, the age of the interested parties is getting high enough that there are multiple causes for motivated selling. Whether it be death, health, medical bills or something else, stuff that was hidden away in the back of an old building for "someday" is now being let go to the next anxious owner. And '32 Fords still lead the list for popularity/demand. One needs to be vigilant and ready to move on a potential acquisition when the opportunity presents. If you're seriously looking you can find it, if you're sitting back waiting for it to fall into your lap, "getting lucky", then your odds aren't as good. Happily, they're still out there.............somewhere.
Regarding the UP link above. Having seen several of their bodies, mostly at SEMA, they are a nice piece. Not perfect, but pretty darn close all things considered. Made from Taiwanese stampings? Yep. Not original Ford? Yep. So if those things turn you off, don't look. But for those who might be interested in one here's a tip. Find a couple more guys to throw in with. Start an automotive company, even if only on paper.

And place a direct order for the minimum dealer program purchase of 3 bodies. You'll save a few thousand per...............but you'll need to be patient. They have a backlog of orders right now and can't keep up with demand. Can't find 2 reliable "partners"? Yeah, that would be pretty common. If you like the product, buy one from a legitimate dealer and support those who support the hobby. (I'm not one, so I'm not tooting my own horn.)
