24-26 C cab build

Hello. I'm new here but need information on building a C cab. I've never had a T before so this is new. The oldest I've had is a '28 leather back sedan.

Thanks for any input. I know I have a lot to learn so I'll read lots of existing threads.

Depends on the parts you have, if you have the cowl and dash, that will date the body, this one is pre' '26 with the rectangular dash switch hole.

A car chassis of the '23-'25 years could be used to fit this body, with the body mounting brackets modified to relocate them to fit the frame to body brackets on the car chassis.

An open car firewall of '23-'25 would be used, and later high radiator and hood should fit your cab cowl, if no cowl or dash, then you can fit which year parts can be found.

If you are going to get anything from Howell's order it yesterday and you may get it in a year or so. We are doing a C-Cab right know and a month before Chickasha(which is in March) I called and ordered everything I needed, so I could pick it up there and save shipping. Well, when I got there he didn't have everything, but gave me pieces I didn't want, told me that is what I ordered and instead of arguing took them all along. I asked how long for the rest of the stuff and he said a few weeks after the show. It is July and I am getting the same run around every week when I call, saying we are working on it right know and it should be there next week.

Also of note, don't bother with the cowl panels, the come relatively straight instead of curved and the indents where the hinges mount come flat and straight. I have called and asked about it and they say that is the way the have been making them for years and to just deal with it.

I don't really want to sell it but may work a trade on a good rebuilt T engine and trans! Actually, it would be pretty cool mounted on the bed of the C cab when it is done so it may just have to stay put.
