Super rare 1936 21 stud Ford LB flatty! This is the first engine with insert bearings but still has the early water pumps so it can be used in an early car without changing the stock look. It looks to be a good builder and will probably turn over but I have not tried. It is a standard bore engine so it has never been messed with. The only issue I can see is a small crack coming from one of the water passages. Im told that is a common problem with these engines due to overheating and a good machine shop can easily fix it. It is stamped LB and then CS underneath. it also has a series of number and say's CAL so I assume it was made in california. I have more detailed pictures if you need to see them. email me your address and I will send them over. Asking $1,300 OBO Thanks! Kevan (714) 924-2249

Hey, I gotta move so I'll take $300 for this engine. I also have pictures with the pan and one of the main caps off so you can see it's a real LB engine. Someone come get this engine before I scrap it! Dont be scared of a little crack, we can rebuild him. We have the technology!

If I lived on the west coast I would be there knocking on your door right now with cash in hand. The one crack that I can see in your picture is repairable. If it has cracks in the pan rails, that would concern me. You probably should have had pictures of the lower end and the removable mains on here and on eBay. That would have most likely sold that LB quickly. JMO
