Ford used the metal bed floor up to 1950. Although I think that the finished wood floor looks good, it is not correct until the 1951 models came out.Interesting bed floor in that 36 pickup. When did Ford give up the metal pan that covered the wood ? Had a few 35's and took the headboard out of mine so I could replace the some what rotted maple with new as well as sand blast the bottom of the pan and repaint.
Remember , this was Australian built !!!Ford used the metal bed floor up to 1950. Although I think that the finished wood floor looks good, it is not correct until the 1951 models came out.
MrTexas,
So this collection was auctioned off in 2012? Doubt there will ever be another single make/model that compares.
