Looms

I don't use lumes. Thanks appreciate it.

on a 53 flathead does it matter if you use 7m or 8mm plug wires? Thanks

Charlie just did my fuel pump and right now my carb is on the away. Great guy.

Thanks everybody

If your going to do a compression test on a flathead is it best to remove all plugs before testing?

Does anybody make a remote starter button for a 6 volt system?

yes Charlie in New York.

I've dealt with Charlie a couple of times. Earlier this spring I sent my duel action fuel pump from my 53. The post office said 3 days. 12 days later it showed up at Charlies. Empty. So he found enough parts to build one. Charlies the best, nice to deal with.

Just an update. I bought vacuum gage this morning and set the mixture screws and took it out. It ran smooth, knock on wood.

Thanks guys

I did put a one way valve in the line to keep gs from draining back. I'm starting to wonder if under load it's restricting gas.

The thing is it ran fine with that carb before. I'll just have to keep playing with things.

t seems to idle smooth but under a load misses bad. I've tried the air fuel mixture and it doesn't help. I can make it run worse but can't get it to smooth out.

It seems to run fairly smooth at idle but when I put a load on it, it misses real bad and will not smooth out with the air fuel mixture.

Has anyone bought a after market carb Ford 1953 v8? I cant get anymore adjustment on the mixture. Are they good or just junk?

I bought a Champion about 4 years ago for my 53 and have had no problems, runs cool.

I just had Charlie do mine. Great guy.

Do you know who sells them? Every one I've seen are for singles.

Is there a difference on a single action pump or duel action fuel pump rebuild kit?
