Can anyone explain the reason for flow testing Model A Zenith carb jets with a 36 inch water column instead of the 37 1/4inch column as used by Ford? Thank you.
I thought that with the exception of commercial headlights, all 1928 and 1929 headlights were nickel plated. The stainless steel hemispherical lights came in 1930. In what literature was it stated that headlights were cadmium plated?
The Murray bodied sedans are not rare cars. I would be hesitant to pay that much for a model A that does not run unless it was a scarce body style. In this case it isn't. I own a 30 Murray town sedan. Nice cars but no way are they rare. Be careful with sellers making claims like this.
Unless you are experienced with an acetylene cutting torch, use the cut off wheels on a grinder. Better to take a little longer and not make your situation worse.
Original Ford matched set, electro etched 271 on each piece and marked 9-37 made in USA. Never used. What appears as rust on the ring gear is not rust. it is the red lead used to lap the gear sets at the factory. $590.00 plus ups. Terry
These are like new and I believe complete. I got these with a pile of parts from a hotrodder. Check out the pictures, what is there is what I have. $20.00. Thanks, Terry

I have been running a standard head gasket under my original high compression head. This is the one marked "B". Reading on another site, I found that this is not good. What gasket is to be used with an original police head. There is discussion on gaskets for modern high compression heads but...
Thank you Brent and Gordon for your replies. I will plan on a trip to Michigan in the future and do some on site research. Two years ago I did visit Greenfield Village and would enjoy going back. Terry
Has anyone here personally ordered a drawing from the Benson Ford Research Center? Did you manage to get the information that you needed? I am trying to get a machinist drawing with dimensions of the A3131B left side spindle arm. After downloading the appropriate forms from the Benson Ford...
The woodwork is beautiful but I have to ask how many miles are on your truck? The clutch and brake pedals have no wear at all. A truly beautiful truck! Thanks for the pictures. Terry
329s, When I get the correct information I plan on making an inspection template or fixture. I'll let you know when that happens. First I need to look into the judging standards as ajanke suggested. Thanks to all for the replys to my question, Terry
