Head gasket for Model A police head "B"

I have been running a standard head gasket under my original high compression head. This is the one marked "B". Reading on another site, I found that this is not good. What gasket is to be used with an original police head. There is discussion on gaskets for modern high compression heads but nothing specifically for the original. What did Ford use? Thanks, Terry

The parts book shows head gasket A-6051-B for the police head and A-6051-A for
the standard head.

I used a Model B head gasket on mine since it matched the combustion chamber configuration better than a Model A head gasket.

same here....found an old stock Mccord B gasket, with the original asbestos core that kinda hangs out of the side all shredded looking like asbestos likes to do. I expect to open the hood one day and see frantic parents grabbing their youngsters and hystarically hightailing it.
