I bought my 1929 Roadster Pickup with a known stuck clutch. I followed tips given to me here on how to un stick a stuck clutch Post. By jacking the rear up on jack stands and blocking the front wheels, running her up in 3 gear and hitting the brakes, I had the clutch freed up in minutes...

I came across an old stock 29 Ford Coupe that this old timer had. It's been in the Barn Forever and he says the 4 Banger runs but the clutch is Frozen, AKA Stuck. What could I be dealing with here? What is the Fix? Thanks, Jim

Hi Dick, I have the later model Dash from pictures that have been posted here. Not sure my inserts or ash trays are correct for the later Dash. I'll get pictures up tomorrow and we can figure this out. Thanks, Jim

I have a stock 1940 Ford Dash and Gauge Panel. My transmission is a later model Ford 3 speed Top Loader with Jeep Shifter behind a Flathead. I don't have the Speedometer hooked up as I don't know who to contact to make a cable or an adaptor to my transmission. Any Help? Thanks, Jim

Thanks Dick, Based on your pictures mine is like your black late style. Maybe my insert bracket is for the early style. Are the ash trays different for early and late style dashes? Thanks guys, Jim

Thanks, I think it best I take and post pictures of what I have. From what I remember, There is no back to the hole where the ash tray fits in. There are two flaps on the sides of the hole with a screw hole on each side. Flaps are about 1/2 inch deep. Does that tell you anything? Jim
