1940 Ford rear hood hinges. Were the originals intended to have grease on the rivets. There is a thin brass type washer at each rivet. I have a used set that I feel I can refurbish them. Seems the arms should have a snug fit? Thanks, Fourdy

deuce lover The comments I got were that even though it didn't boil over or cause hotspots it did increase the overall temperature of the block, heads etc. Raised the temperature in the engine bay. How hot did your block run?

I am hopeful to find some first hand experience with the use of EVANS coolant in a flathead. I have listened to quantities of "I have heard ---" but would like some personal experiences. Thanks, Fourdy

The front pair of hood bumpers are wedge shaped. Does the thickest part go toward the engine or to the outside? Thanks, Fourdy
