all i did was got i round dowl and stuck it in the tank put a line at the top and took a measurment devided it by 4 and notched the stick and its close enuff for me untill i change the float

i know stuff like this has been covered in the past i rebuilt the shift tower over last winter and it still pops out of third gear i have a later style transmission with an ar tower due to the multi disc cluch assembly being removed to put in a regular clutch so im wondering if that is causing...

i looked at the armature today and there was alot of carbon build up on it i cleaned it off and hooked it up to my cordless drill and used a test light and it is working again is this a common problem or old junky brushes that i got with it and a few others and i put a set together to get it...

tom the generator is not charging i checked the brushes and the springs and they seem fine is there a way to check the armature and the feild coils with an electrical tester thanks in advance jim

i tryed polarizing it this morning and it still didnt charge i put a jumper across the cut out when it was running the wire sparked when it made contact and the needle jumped a little bit but then went back to zero and when i turn the lights on it goes to negative so ill check the brushes and go...

i havent had my car out yet this year yet due to no time i started it today and let it run for a bit and noticed the generator wasnt charging it is a 5 brush power house and it was charging when i put it away last year do i need to repolorize it or should i start somewhere else thanks in advance jim

i have an early a i put it back together the shorter notch goes towards the distributor

i took the distributor and the lower shaft out a few weeks ago to replace my head gasket and now i cant remember which way it goes does the end with the shorter notch go into the bottom of the distributor thanks in advance jim

my march of 28 sport coupe's are numbers matching at 64120 and it had closed end bumpers on it and i had gottin if from the origonal owner

the early hoods in 28 the louvers were strait and if you looked at the top of the louvers they lined up strait so from looking at the front to the back the gap inbetween the louvers to top part of the hood were closer and and towards the gas tank were farther apart so intern the hood would be...

i had an overheating problem with mine for the longest time timed it and timed over and over still over heating i got a new radiator and still overheated so i thought maybe bad water pump or blown head gasket i pulled the upper water neck to check if the fins fit good into the head and they did...

ive seen people use little peices of fabric in between the hook on the latch and the hood

i always put mine on the top of the pump as i do with my modern car cause when i used to work at a gas station i saw lots of people loose theres to the road

mine were like that to from years of storage on the side all i did was tap it on the spare tire a bunch of times and that worked for me
