    Outer panel attachment to subrails

Surely someone has pictures, i dont have any available to me right now. The portion from the door to the rear fender is a series of "flaps" each one about an inch long. They alternate one flap inside and one outside the rail and are not welded. The inner fender part is more or less solid with...

    Rear backing plate question

Do the rears on some have a grease baffle? My 28 doesn't have grease baffles on the rear. I'm trying to learn all i can. I'm interested to hear what the differences are. I have some of those shouldered nuts i got on a parts rear and or somehow acquired them, never used them though.

    Paint Question

POR15 is not a topcoat and weather will fade it over time, it will become almost chalky looking if exposed to the weather. Anytime I want a glossy black finish, PPG aue-100 and the catalyst aue-101 is the go to. Its an extremely durable industrial finish. Its used in painting large industrial...

    Friction Shock Absorbers

most manufacturers have a torque spec for the adjustments. But really its sort of trial and error until you get the ride you want. Use a torque wrench when making your adjustments so each side will be equal and so you'll have a guideline for readjustment.

    1939 transmission in a Model A Ford

Should all bolt right up, provided you have the a transmission with closed drive mount . works with stock model A clutch parts or v8. The flywheel will need work if you intend to use a v8 pressure plate.

1935 Ford wire wheels.. What's your way?

My favorite stuff for filling pits or pinholes is dolphin glaze from upol. its a really smooth flowing, self leveling type glaze, it sands nice too. I use it on wheels, axle housings, etc.

    Brake de-conversion question

I have the complete setup, I just posted asking what they might be worth as buying a complete conversion is pricey. I'd be willing to trade with someone wanting to go back to mechanicals. If I can't get something worked out I will go ahead and run the mechanicals as I see no benefit of...
