I don't do anything special. I don't lock the car (I've even accidentally left the key in the ignition since that is where I keep it at home). So few people can drive a manual transmission that to think that a theif would know how to start a Model A and then drive it would be a rare thing...

Look very closely at the points and make sure they really are closed. Mine did same and turned out that they looked closed but they were not quite. Light flickered but did not go out.

I'm willing to try it. I use the regular Sta-Bil with every tank of gas on my Opel with Weber. Before I used it, every 500-1000 miles, the performance would drop due to a "varnishing" effect that clogged one of the idle jets from the Ethanol. Now, with Sta-Bil, I don't have the problem anymore...
