Press pedal firmly and at same time pull handle hard. It holds my 48 coupe hold on my driveway.

the only thing I can add to this thread is, be SURE to support the frame with jack stans, as the shackle bolts hold the whole weight of the front end of your 46.

It has been recomened to use fuel injection rubber hose at any connection on your electric pump. Corn gas will eat up the old type hose. f.w.i.w.

hi guys. I had my starter motor rebuilt. put new #1 gage cables at all ground points. clean, brite and tight. starts up like never before in my ownership. AND, the fuel gage goes to full.( tank is full ). Bet then gage drops to empty. The gage never even worked before. do you think it is opening...
