What years were the 17" wheels available?

Were there different sizes and/or bends on the model A brake pedals? I'm going to use an AA bell housing and the brake pedal I bought on ebay rubs on the steering column. Not sure but the pedal I bought could be bent and not original if all the pedals 28 - 31 were all the same.

Never heard this one before, arching the shoes to the drum. There is a machine to do this?
